The Ansan Daebudo Grape Festival is Ansan's representative autumn festival held every September to promote the excellence of Daebudo grapes, which have high sugar content and a rich aroma grown in the rich sea breeze and fertile soil of the west coast. First started in 1995, it has a long history and has established itself as an all-ages sensory satisfaction festival that goes beyond simple agricultural product sales. At the venue around Daebu Sea Breeze Theme Park, a direct trading market is held where fresh, high-quality grapes can be purchased at reasonable prices minus intermediate distribution margins. In addition, the highlight of the festival is the grape-treading experience where visitors step on grapes directly to exciting music. In addition to this, colorful linked events such as celebratory performances, the Daebu Haesolgil Walking Festival, and the Ansan Marathon, along with rich food, provide memories of being intoxicated, enjoying, and falling in love with Daebu. 1.
