[Performance Introduction] ❍ A traditional art performance recreating the legend of the Twin Juniper Trees (Ssanghyangsu) at Cheonjaam Hermitage of Songgwangsa Temple, Natural Monument No. 88, through dance, music, and traditional Korean music (Gukak). Two walking sticks gain life and grow into two trees, becoming one and spreading their leaves together. ❍ As the two trees intertwine and grow endlessly upward, they bow their heads to look at their own beginning, opening a new path for the trees without force.
