[About the Show] "The Tiger and the Dried Persimmon" is a participatory children's musical play that reimagines a familiar traditional folktale through traditional Korean performing arts and melodies. On a winter night, a hungry tiger comes down to a village and gets terrified by the words "dried persimmon." Centered on this humorous and delightful story, various traditional arts—including mask dance, puppet show, pansori, and samulnori—unfold on a single stage. Combining exciting traditional Korean rhythms, lively acting from the performers, and audience-participation play, children naturally enjoy traditional culture and cultivate imagination and laughter. Our traditional performance to watch, listen to, and laugh together! "The Tiger and the Dried Persimmon" is a family musical play that delivers the joy of our culture to children in an easy and fun way.
