About this event

Gallery Ziuheon holds a two-person exhibition 《Two Moons》 by artists Kim Bo-kyung and Seo Min-jung from August 5 to September 12. This exhibition intersects the worldviews of two artists who express familiar realities through surreal painting worlds. 김보경(b.1989)은 국민대학교 예술대학에서 회화를 전공하고 동 대학원에서 회화 전공으로 석사 학위를 받았다. 2023년 동작아트갤러리 개인전 《쓰러질듯 쓰러지지 않는 균형》을 시작으로 《우연적 질서》(2024, 아트플러그연수), 《풍경설계》(2025, 인천아트플랫폼) 등의 개인전을 가졌다. 일민미술관, 화이트스톤갤러리, 서울시립 북서울미술관 등에서 그룹전에 참여했으며, 인천아트플랫폼(2024) 입주 작가로 활동했다. 서울문화재단 예술창작활동지원사업(2026), 프로젝트 스페이스 사루비아 The Crit(2025)에 선정되는 등 다수의 기금 수혜 및 수상 경력이 있으며, 인천미술은행, 서울시 노원구청, 서울시 문화본부 박물관과, 양주시립 장욱진미술관 등에 작품이 소장되어 있다. 서민정(b.1982)은 고려대학교 미술학부에서 동양화를 전공했다. 2008년 갤러리 도스 개인전 《Ping Pong_Episode Vol.1》을 시작으로 《땅과 불꽃》(2023, 공간시은), 《새벽의 왕》(2025, 인천아트플랫폼), 《메아리》(2026, 갤러리밈) 등의 개인전을 개최했다. 금호미술관, 세종문화회관, 미메시스아트뮤지엄 등에서 그룹전에 참여했으며, 금호창작스튜디오(2015-2017) 입주 작가로 활동했다. 인천문화재단 창작지원 작가(2025), 미메시스아트뮤지엄 AP7(2024), 제7회 종근당 예술지상(2018), 한국은행 선정 '우리시대의 젊은 작가 7인'(2016) 등에 선정되며 주목받았다. 국립현대미술관 정부미술은행, 한국은행, 종근당, 경기도미술관, 양주시립 장욱진미술관, 인천문화재단 미술은행 등에 작품이 소장되어 있다.
