[Performance Introduction] The third performance in the 'Classics We Loved' series focuses on cello works, offering a time to encounter the music of masters representing their eras, from Bach to Paganini, through the beautiful ensemble of piano and cello. Starting with the deep resonance of Bach and the warm comfort of 'Amazing Grace', the program continues like a single story through Beethoven's meticulous variations, Tchaikovsky's lyrical melodies, Rachmaninoff's rich emotion and passion, and Paganini's brilliant virtuosity. In addition to the performance, we invite you to encounter the backgrounds of the works, the lives of the composers, and the stories contained within the music through easy and interesting commentary.
