[Show Introduction] 2026 Gonggan Gyeol Young Artist Series <Wave of Gyeol> Fourth Story Introducing the fourth stage of <Wave of Gyeol>, Gonggan Gyeol's signature curated performance that discovers and supports young artists who possess the 'trembling of beginnings' rather than perfection, and 'their own color' rather than career. On this stage, pianist Kim Geun-young showcases the diverse spectrum of the piano, from passion held within classical firm structures to dramatic fantasy inherent in Romantic music. Opening with an elaborate and energetic gate through Beethoven's early masterpiece <Sonata No. 3>, she portrays deep, swaying lyricism through Chopin's <Barcarolle>. In Part 2 that follows, she plans to colorfully unfold the inner selves and fantasies of numerous human crowds on the piano keys through Schumann's <Carnaval>. In particular, held on August 15, Liberation Day, this performance is a meaningful occasion sharing the good influence of music. Carrying pianist Kim Geun-young's warm sincerity, part of the ticket proceeds from this show will be donated to meaningful places for marginalized neighbors and society.
