The 15th Dunnae High-Altitude Tomato Festival will be held for three days from August 14 to 16 at Dunnae Sports Park in Hoengseong-gun under the theme "Colored with Tomatoes! Cooled down with Water Play!" The festival's flagship program is "Find the Gold Ring" held in a tomato pool, offering various prizes including gold rings, accommodation vouchers, local agricultural specialties, and gift sets. Along with this, diverse hands-on activities will be operated, such as tomato stacking, weight guessing, tomato benefit OX quiz, water gun tomato shooting, cherry tomato tanghulu making, and tomato 4-cut photo booths. Performance programs provide plenty of entertainment, featuring KBS National Singing Contest, performances by Dunnae resident autonomy programs, youth club performances, and Hidden Singer impersonator shows. Family-friendly and child-friendly experiences are also available, including a water play area with water slides and air bounces, face painting, and ballpoint pen making for kids. The festival site operates local food stalls, food trucks, a night food market, a direct agricultural market, and a tomato promotional hall where visitors can directly purchase fresh Dunnae high-altitude tomatoes.
