Keumsan Gallery presents Hong Seong-yong's solo exhibition, Stuffed Memory, from Wednesday, July 15, 2026, to Wednesday, August 15, 2026. In today's world where information overflows endlessly and communication never stops, countless senses, memories, and trivial moments easily evaporate. With a desire to hold onto precious moments spent with people, artist Hong Seong-yong has recorded fragments of memory in the form of 'stuffing' (taxidermy). This exhibition is a place to let the fading emotions and traces of memory linger through the layered coats of traditional Ottchil (lacquerware). The artist's desire to capture memories forever is expressed through the time of Ottchil, built layer by layer. By applying lacquer in this way, the artist holds onto people, places, and specific moments that would otherwise disappear, summoning past memories onto the canvas. The opening reception will take place on Friday, July 17, at 5:00 PM. We hope this time spent together by the artist and visitors will itself become another 'stuffed memory'. We look forward to your attendance. ※ Opening Reception Date: Friday, July 17, 2026, at 5:00 PM Program: 5:00 PM–7:00 PM DJ OSORI / 7:00 PM–8:00 PM AUCTION Venue: Keumsan Gallery (B103 Namsan Ssangyong Platinum, 46 Sogong-ro, Jung-gu, Seoul)
