About this event

Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, the Boeun Jujube Festival is a representative agricultural product festival in Korea where you can discover Boeun's signature premium jujubes and local produce harvested in clean nature all in one place. Recognizing its outstanding operational performance, the 2025 Boeun Jujube Festival was selected as the Grand Prize Festival among Chungcheongbuk-do Designated Festivals for 2026, and achieved the top prize for sales activation of agricultural products in Chungcheongbuk-do three consecutive times since 2017, proving its nationwide competitiveness. Furthermore, it has established itself as Boeun's flagship festival by promoting the history and exceptional quality of Boeun jujubes once presented to kings. During the festival period, offline markets selling jujubes and local specialties, an online marketplace, and a fresh jujube order call center are operated so that visitors from anywhere across the country can conveniently purchase Boeun's produce. Additionally, various cultural and artistic performances—including opening and closing ceremonies—and hands-on activity programs offer visitors abundant sights and entertainment, designed so that everyone from families to visitors of all ages can enjoy the autumn atmosphere of Boeun. Alongside these efforts, diverse programs connecting agriculture, culture, and tourism will showcase the superiority of local specialties, attract tourists, revitalize the local economy, and operate as a landmark festival elevating the brand value of Boeun's autumn tourism. 1.
