[Performance Introduction] “How is music from different eras connected, and how is it born anew?” Violinist Eun-sol Yoon's recital <Resonance> begins with this question. Having deeply explored a composer's musical world through complete Beethoven and Mendelssohn string quartet projects alongside the Abel Quartet, Eun-sol Yoon portrays on this stage the encounter of composers who inherited tradition while crafting their own unique musical language. Placing Stravinsky and Prokofiev alongside the German Romanticism flowing through Schumann and Strauss, she delivers connections and resonances bridging eras and musical expressions. Featuring Stravinsky's "Suite Italienne", Schumann's "Violin Sonata No. 1", Prokofiev's "5 Melodies", and Strauss's "Violin Sonata", the program embodies a single flow generated by composers looking back at the past with fresh perspectives. On stage with pianist Ilya Rashkovskiy, Eun-sol Yoon focuses not on showing off, but on delivering sincere emotions. Music created by composers of different eras answering tradition, A dialogue between two performers listening to each other's sounds, And a stage capturing the moment when those vibrations reach the audience.
