정읍 구절초 축제는 청정한 산골하천과 천혜의 자연경관을 자랑하는 솔숲을 배경으로 한 동양 최대의 150,000㎡ 구절초꽃 동산에서 가을의 절정기인 매년 10월에 개최된다. 솔향기와 은은한 꽃향기가 어우러진 산책로를 걸으며 자연 속에서 온전한 치유와 위로를 느낄 수 있다. 안개가 자욱하게 피어오르는 새벽녘이나 따스한 가을 햇살이 내리쬐는 오후 모두 사진작가들이 빼놓지 않고 즐겨찾는 대한민국 최고의 출사명소이기도 하다. 자연이 인간에게 주는 최고의 선물인 순백의 구절초와 함께 지역 향토자원을 테마로 한 다채로운 체험 프로그램, 정읍의 풍성한 지역 농특산물도 가득해 가을의 정취를 오감으로 만끽하기에 안성맞춤이다.
