[Introduction] <Ahava Ensemble 20th Anniversary Love-Sharing Concert> Starting in 2006 with a small charity concert to help pediatric cancer patients, the Ahava Ensemble began with the aim of sharing love and connecting hearts through music. Since that first stage, the sincere desire to share inspiration with more people has continued, and for the past 20 years, they have steadily delivered a warm resonance through music. This performance looks back on those footsteps, making it a meaningful stage to once again reflect on the value of sharing and empathy that music possesses. The concert begins with Mozart's 5 Country Dances, KV 609, opening a bright and energetic atmosphere with a cheerful and lively rhythm. This is followed by Mendelssohn's Double Concerto in D minor for Violin, Piano, and Strings, conveying a deep musical resonance by harmoniously unfolding lyricism and dynamism within a delicate dialogue between the instruments. Next, Piazzolla's Summer vividly depicts the vitality of the season with intense rhythms and passionate melodies, adding another layer of energy to the stage. Arvo Pärt's Cantus in Memoriam Benjamin Britten provides a time of deep contemplation and meditation within a restrained composition, allowing audiences to feel the inner resonance of the music. Ravel's Boléro then builds dramatic tension through gradually expanding rhythms and layers of sound, and finally, Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue brilliantly concludes the concert with a free-spirited energy that crosses the boundaries of classical and jazz. This 20th-anniversary concert is an occasion to reflect on the meaning of past times and reaffirm the value of sharing and love through music. We hope that all the melodies conveyed from the stage remain as warm memories and continue to resonate in the hearts of the audience for a long time. [PROGRAM] W. A.
