[About the Performance] The subtitle <Da Capo>, meaning "back to the beginning" in musical terms, naturally aligns with pianist Ji-Yong, who is returning to the domestic recital stage for the first time in 7 years since 2019. Having caught the international music world's attention early on as the youngest winner of the New York Philharmonic Young Artists Competition, he has quietly stepped back to the "beginning"—solely in front of the piano—after a period of dazzling spotlights and diverse artistic collaborations. Based in New York, Ji-Yong presents a meaningful occasion to showcase his firmer, deeper artistic world to domestic fans. This stage features a program that encapsulates Ji-Yong's wide-ranging repertoire and sincere interpretations. Part 1 showcases solid structural beauty and dynamic energy through Bach-Busoni's 'Chaconne' and Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 18, while Part 2 brings out deep inner reflection and lyricism through Arvo Pärt's 'Für Alina' and Chopin's Piano Sonata No. 3. The program clearly highlights his musical orientation, which explores spiritual depth beyond technical perfection. For Ji-Yong, who has continuously attempted new things while expanding the boundaries of classical music, this stage is more than just a return; it is the first page of a musical journey quietly starting over from the original intention. Within the span of time encompassing Baroque, Classical, Contemporary, and Romantic eras, his candid and deep resonance will reach the audience with warm emotion. [PROGRAM] J. S. Bach / F.
