About this event

가을의 시작과 함께 열리는 청양 고추 구기자 축제는 전 연령층이 함께 할 수 있는 참여형 축제로, 청양군을 대표하는 농특산물인 고추, 구기자를 활용한 오감 만족 체험 프로그램과 여경래 셰프 초청 쿠킹쇼 및 전국 고등학생 요리 서바이벌, 대형 겉절이 담기, 구기자 떡 모자이크, 맵부심의 제왕 등 먹거리 볼거리쇼를 볼 수 있으며, 특화음식 체험마을존, 맵주&맵부심 도립대존, 푸드코트 식당존 등 다양한 먹거리 부스도 마련되어 있다. 특히, 캐치! 티니핑 공연과 포토존, 목재문화체험존, 청양이 친구들(청양이, 청초롱, 청홍이)로 확대하여 신설된 키즈존을 구성하여 가족과 어린이를 대상으로 한 프로그램을 확대하였으며, 송가인, 박지현, 박현빈, 솔지 등 가수 초청 공연, 청양의 흥을 알려라 및 주민자치 공연 등을 통해 볼거리 및 즐길거리를 풍성하게 준비한 충청남도 대표 지역축제이다.
