About this event
Hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Chungcheongbuk-do, Cheongju-si, the Korea Urban Regeneration Industry Promotion Association, and Yonhap News, the 2026 Korea Urban and Regional Innovation Industry Expo will be held from September 29 to October 2 at Cheongju OSCO in Chungcheongbuk-do. Covering innovation across urban and regional sectors, this event is Korea's largest urban innovation expo where various entities from industry, technology, and policy fields gather to share information and seek cooperation opportunities. Held annually since 2019, it has established itself as a forum for cooperation among civil, government, industry, and academic sectors. Along with promotional booth exhibitions by government departments, local governments, and companies, various side events such as seminars and outcome-sharing meetings will be held to share the achievements and vision of urban and regional innovation. - Main programs: Urban Innovation Expo - Side events and programs: Opening ceremony / Promotional booths (operation of booths for related organizations including local governments, government departments, public institutions, companies, etc.) / Award programs (Urban & Regional Innovation Awards / Promotion & Marketing Awards / AI Urban & Regional Innovation Idea Contest) / Academic programs (seminars), etc.
