[Deoksugung Palace Night at Seokjojeon] is a nighttime visitation program consisting of a 'Seokjojeon Night Tour' with a professional guide, a 'Terrace Cafe Experience' where guests can enjoy Gabae-cha (coffee) and desserts loved by Emperor Gojong while listening to classical music, and a musical performance about the imperial family of the Korean Empire. Starting as a pilot project in 2021, it was officially launched in 2022 due to high satisfaction and response, and has been operated semi-annually since 2023. Guided by palace staff, it is a complex cultural experience program where visitors can experience the specialty of traveling back in time to Seokjojeon Hall, which holds the story of the Korean Empire's imperial family, and remember their night at Deoksugung Palace Seokjojeon for a long time through commemorative gifts and 'Insaenggungcut' photos using modern-era props. 1. Deoksugung Palace, Seokjojeon Night Tour: Exhibition tour and commentary at the Seokjojeon Korean Empire History Museum. 2. Terrace Cafe Experience: Tasting Emperor Gojong's Gabae and desserts on the 2nd-floor terrace of Seokjojeon (3 types of tea food provided / select 1 from 4 types of beverages). 3. Reception Room Musical: A creative musical performance offering a glimpse into the Korean Empire era. 4. Insaenggungcut: Taking self-photo booth commemorative photos against the backdrop of the night view of Seokjojeon with modern-era props.
