This event is a gourmet travel destination where you can fully enjoy the nutty wild gizzard shad, a top delicacy of Seocheon, and the plump seasonal blue crabs. The festival grounds provide plenty of entertainment, including unique experiential events such as catching gizzard shad with bare hands that everyone can enjoy, friendly folk games, and photo zones to leave precious memories. It is a representative festival where you can enjoy the essence of seasonal seafood along with the beautiful sea scenery and build unforgettable memories. 1. Experience Program 1) Catching gizzard shad with bare hands - Operating hours: Weekends (Sat/Sun) 14:00/15:00 (twice a day) - Location: Experience area within the festival grounds - Participants: 20 children, 20 adults / First-come, first-served - Fee: 15,000 KRW - Note: Participants can take up to 6 fish per person; the event may be canceled if supply is difficult due to bad weather (rain, strong winds, etc.) 2) Treasure Hunt inside Hongwon Port festival grounds - Operating hours: Weekends (Sat/Sun) 11:00 – 16:00 - Location: Within the Hongwon Port festival grounds - Participants: All tourists participating in the festival (15 people, first-come, first-served) - Content: Local specialty gifts for tourists who find treasure cards hidden throughout the venue 2.
