The 18th Seoul Architecture Festival in 2026 aims to rediscover the unique architectural and urban charm of Seoul under the theme 'Discovery of Seoul: Assembling Seoul'. Seoul creates creative possibilities based on a 'complex density' that combines the history, culture, and locality of a high-density city. Furthermore, it has continuously adapted through 'accelerated evolution', rapidly updating its form based on existing accumulations amid drastic social changes. Moving forward, it is expanding the urban experience and value unique to contemporary K-Architecture to the world through 'Glocality', which intersects regional contexts with global trends. This year's Seoul Architecture Festival prepares various participatory programs so that citizens can experience Seoul's architecture and city more closely and become familiar with architectural culture. Through diverse citizen-participatory content such as architectural culture forums with architects, talk programs and work tours with the winners of the 44th Seoul Metropolitan Government Architecture Awards, and programs for young aspiring architects, we provide a place to discover Seoul's architecture and create K-Architecture culture together with citizens. - Main Program: Exhibition of the completed building category of the Seoul Metropolitan Government Architecture Awards - Side Events and Programs: Architectural Culture Forum / Open Class / Growth Support Program for Young Aspiring Architects, etc.
