[About the Performance] The 2026 Meaningful Project [Place of the Shadow] brings together three artists to interpret the common theme of 'Place of the Shadow' through their own unique methods, featuring sculptural exhibitions, play readings, and poetry writing workshops. The main character's deceased older brother in the solo monodrama [Place of the Shadow: My Place] is an aborted child who was never born. Through prayer, I receive my deceased brother back as a seed and undergo a fantastical experience of planting and growing the seed myself. Will I be able to successfully raise my brother? Will my brother be able to be successfully reborn? Why do I want to make my brother be reborn? * The staged reading [Place of the Shadow: My Place] is a short play by writer Kang Se-jin and will be read by the author herself.
