[About the Performance] Everyone is thrown into the world without a choice. Things we "already have"—like parents' wealth, family environment, or innate temperament—often shape the trajectory of life all too early. Facing an unchangeable starting line, children learn about lack and stand helplessly before the cold eyes of the world. Yet here are children who pay no mind to each other's backgrounds. Children who willingly reach out simply because they are by each other's side, simply because they can laugh together. Their actions represent uncalculated, "reasonless kindness" itself. We hope this story serves as a small escape from a daunting reality. Through the friendship of these children who say, "It doesn't matter who you are or where you came from," we hope the kindness sleeping deep within our hearts awakes once more.
