The 29th Midsummer Night's Sinjeongho Starlight Festival is a nighttime cultural tourism festival held against the backdrop of Sinjeongho Lake, Asan's representative tourism resource. By linking natural scenery with cultural and artistic content, it provides citizens and tourists with opportunities to enjoy culture and promotes local tourism. The festival features programs for all ages, including performances, experiences, exhibitions, stargazing, and movie screenings. It creates a nighttime attraction and relaxation space utilizing Sinjeongho's waterfront scenery to enjoy the summer night atmosphere. Furthermore, it expands the foundation for local cultural arts through the Starlight Concert, which offers performance opportunities to local artists, and interactive booths. It also provides educational and cultural value with unique content like stargazing through astronomical telescopes accompanied by expert commentary. As a complex cultural festival for families, youth, and tourists, its goal is to revitalize local arts, attract tourists, and boost the regional economy. 1. Main Programs - Star/Light Concert: Performances across various genres (band, dance, vocal, traditional music, etc.) selected through local artist open calls - Stargazing: Astronomical telescope stargazing and expert commentary in cooperation with relevant organizations - Starlight Movie Screening: Family movie screenings using LED systems for the whole family - Talk Concert: Lectures related to stargazing 2. Side Programs - Starlight Experience Zone: Operation of various hands-on booths selected through local open calls - Starlight Garden: Nighttime attractions with starlight-themed sculptures and photo zones
