The 2026 Gwangmyeong City Book Festival is a representative reading culture festival in Gwangmyeong City, held under the slogan "The Beginning of Infinite Exploration, A Kind Book Journey!". This festival was designed to provide a venue where all citizens can encounter and enjoy books in their daily lives through the medium of books. Various experience programs and cultural performances, book concerts for communicating with authors, and various reading events for all generations are operated at the venue. Through this, participants can discover the various joys that books provide and increase their interest in reading. It is also composed of a space for communication and harmony where you can make special autumn memories with family, friends, and neighbors. Main Programs: Opening performance, Reading Family awards, Book concert with author Woo Shin-young of this year's book "Always a Kind Porridge Shop", Gwangmyeong young artists' performance, Family Book Expedition (Reading Bingo, Reading OX Quiz), Children's puppet show 2. Subsidiary Programs: Experience/promotion booths, book market, flea market, talent market, book playground, photo zone, performance/experience programs 3.
