Held every autumn in September, the Ansan Daebu Grape Festival is Ansan's signature festival organized to showcase the excellence of Daebu grapes, known for high sugar content and rich aroma fostered by the West Coast's sea breezes and fertile soil. First launched in 1995, it boasts a long history and has evolved beyond simple produce sales into a sensory-satisfying festival for people of all ages. At the Daebu Bada Hyanggi Theme Park venue, a direct trade market opens where visitors can purchase fresh, high-quality grapes at reasonable prices without middleman markups. In particular, the grape-treading experience—stomping on grapes to upbeat music—is an unmissable highlight. Additionally, diverse partnered events such as celebratory performances, the Daebu Haesol-gil Walking Festival, and the Ansan Marathon alongside abundant food options offer unforgettable memories. 1.
