The 2026 Gijang-gun Companion Animal Culture Festival is a festival of communication and harmony bringing together pets, owners, and local residents. Marking its third anniversary, this year's festival offers a richer and more varied program under the theme of "Happy Coexistence with Companion Animals." It provides a special opportunity for both pet owners and non-pet owners to enjoy themselves while learning and empathizing with a healthy pet culture. In particular, this year introduces exciting new pet programs, including the "Companion Animal Walking Contest" where pets and owners walk and bond together, as well as "K-Pet Got Talent," where talented pets from across the country gather to showcase their hidden skills and talents. In addition, diverse hands-on, educational, and interactive programs will highlight not only the joy of living with companion animals, but also the importance of respecting life and responsible pet ownership. Gijang-gun, where the festival takes place, continues to make various efforts to promote pet culture and animal welfare to create a happy community for both humans and animals.
