This year's slogan is 'NEW FRAME, NEW LONGTAKE', reflecting the festival's commitment to breaking away from traditional formats, expanding horizons with vertical films (NEW FRAME), and continuing the relentless challenge and adventure toward short films in a single, sustained breath (NEW LONGTAKE). The Jeonju International Short Film Festival offers diverse programs including film screenings, Q&A sessions with directors, and a vertical film forum. 1. Regional Film Academic Conference - Date: Sep 18, 2026, 14:00–16:00 - Location: Humanities and Social Sciences Building, Jeonbuk National University - Main Program: Regional Film Academic Conference (a gathering of local filmmakers and Jeonju Policy Research Institute to revitalize regional cinema) 3. Vertical Film Forum - Date: Sep 19, 2026, 15:00–18:00 - Location: 2nd Floor, Jungbu Vision Center - Main Program: Vertical Film Forum (a platform where film majors, university students, vertical film creators, and researchers present and discuss the possibilities of vertical film)
