About this event

광주버스킹월드컵은 광주광역시 동구 충장로 일원에서 개최되는 국제 거리공연 음악축제이다. 본 행사는 국내외 거리공연 예술가들이 참여하여 다양한 음악 공연을 선보이는 경연형 축제로 보컬, 밴드, 어쿠스틱, 퍼포먼스 등 다양한 장르의 무대를 만날 수 있다. 참가팀은 예선과 본선을 거쳐 결선에서 최종 우승팀을 가리며 전문 심사위원의 심사를 통해 수상팀을 선정한다. 광주 도심 곳곳을 무대로 개최되는 본 행사는 도시 공간을 활용한 문화예술 활성화와 거리공연 문화 확산을 도모하고 글로벌 문화교류와 관광 활성화에 기여하는 국제 문화 행사이다.
