Starting with the 1st Baekje Daeje in Buyeo County in 1955, the Baekje Cultural Festival is a representative historical cultural festival in Korea celebrating its 72nd anniversary this year. The festival promotes the brilliant culture and long history of Baekje, modernly inherits the spirit and heritage of ancestors, and enhances local identity and pride. The 72nd Baekje Cultural Festival will be held for 9 days from October 3 to 11, 2026, under the theme 'Beautiful Baekje, Shining Sabi' in the Buyeo-eup downtown area. It features about 40 programs across 7 fields, including rituals/Buddhist ceremonies, historical cultural processions, performances, exhibitions, experiences, and nighttime scenery, centered around Jeongnimsa Temple Site, Seoktap-ro, Uiyeol-ro, and Gwanbuk-ri Relics.
