2026 National Cheongju Museum Special Exhibition Light, Resonance, Power - Metal, Awakening the Senses ● Exhibition Period: April 28 (Tue) ~ August 30 (Sun), 2025 ● Exhibition Venue: National Cheongju Museum Special Exhibition Room (Cheongmyeonggwan) ● Exhibition Overview The 2026 National Cheongju Museum Special Exhibition <Light, Resonance, Power - Metal, Awakening the Senses> focuses on the sensory journey led by metal, centered around just three exhibits: the Seobongchong Gold Crown, the Uncheon-dong Bronze Bell, and the Sangeingeom Sword. Senses go beyond simple physical functions of seeing, hearing, and perceiving; they are ways of understanding the world and creating meaning. Visible light, sound lingering in the ears, and textures touching the fingertips meet individual experiences and memories, expanding into new interpretations. Ultimately, senses are the most personal language leading from simple 'feeling' to 'thought and recognition'. This exhibition is structured so that you can experience the process of seeing, feeling, and interpreting for yourself along the three sensory flows of 'Light, Resonance, Power'. Going a step further from understanding the historical value of cultural heritage, we hope you discover the senses conveyed by metal and your own world contained within them.
