About this event

[공연소개] "식물표본 그녀의 장례 herbarium her-burial 식물 그녀 죽음 Plant her death” 서울특별시 종로구 혜화동. 수많은 몸과 빛들이 무대 위에서 명멸해온 이곳에서, 공연 <식물 그녀 죽음>은 어떻게 사라진 존재들을 불러내고 삶과 죽음, ‘너’와 ‘나’를 어떻게 겹쳐 놓을 것인가를 묻는다. 두 개의 몸을 입은 ‘나’는 오래된 장례 절차를 수행하며 식물표본의 이미지를 영사한다. 이름 붙여지지 못한 죽음, 남겨진 유해와 백골, 누군가의 무덤 앞에서의 자세와 오래된 노래의 기억이 하나의 장례식 안에서 연결된다. 식물표본(herbarium)이라는 단어에서 발견한 her/burial. 그녀를 묻다. 식물표본 안에 그녀의 죽음이 들어서 있다. 식물, 그녀, 죽음.
