About this event

[Performance Introduction] To some, Seoul was a dream, and to others, it was where their solitary life began. People who grew up in regions outside of Seoul, such as Jeonju, Changwon, and Gwangju, and moved their life base to Seoul. This work captures the expectations and excitement faced by those who chose Seoul for their own reasons, the breathlessness felt while adapting to the fast pace of the city, the agony of finding oneself in an unfamiliar city, and the sense of solidarity felt upon meeting others living similar lives. People who live alone in Seoul, but are by no means truly alone. This work records our time spent carving out our own lives in Seoul.
