[Performance Introduction] "The Hour Between" is a solo performance project by bassist Song Jong-bin. Going beyond the traditional role of the bass, this performance weaves together improvisation and various musical experiments to create a unique atmosphere. Focusing on the resonance and breath of the moment, it explores the diverse layers of sound that a single instrument can create, as well as the future and possibilities of the bass guitar. This performance centers on improvisation, with the theme of "Between". It aims to speak of the intersectionality and chemistry between disparate concepts such as art and popular music, spontaneity and density, the familiar and the unfamiliar, and day and night. Rather than delivering a set story or correct answer, it aims to leave a blank space where each audience member can project their own memories and emotions. We hope you can discover your own "time in between" in the moments where sound and silence intersect.
