[Performance Introduction] What is up there in the heavens? Have the people we waited for, the animals, and all the things I love arrived safely in heaven? What do they do there? I live with two children who are still young. Every night they say, "Mom, don't die. You must not die." I am in my mid-30s and not suffering from any terminal illness, but we put our heads together and worry about the fears that children of that age commonly feel. Even after long contemplation, I am at a loss for how to answer. In the end, I say, "I will go to heaven and wait for you there." "You play and have fun, then come to heaven and tell me all about what happened." The children ask, "What is in heaven?" We decided to imagine together what might be in heaven.
