About this event

[Introduction] Landscape after collapse. No state, no borders, no language to express fully. Odyssey from the East is a 55-minute poetic performance inspired by Ainu folktales. In a post-collapse world, migratory birds—symbols of war refugees—arrive in the northern land. They carry memories of expulsion, loss, and survival. This work does not convey a story in a traditional sense. Instead, it unfolds as a site of existence. Through the body as a space of memory, and silence as a form of speech, this work explores a new encounter between human and nature, and the possibility of harmony and rebirth.
