홍주읍성은 조선시대 홍주목의 중심이자 홍주성 전투와 홍주의병의 역사를 간직한 홍성의 대표 국가유산이다. 밤이 되면 아름다운 야간경관으로 낮과는 또 다른 특별한 매력을 선사한다. 2026 홍성 국가유산 야행 「비밀을 품은 홍주읍성!」은 홍주읍성에서 펼쳐지는 국가유산 활용 축제로, 홍주읍성의 역사와 국가유산의 가치를 공연, 체험, 전시, 미디어 콘텐츠 등 다양한 프로그램을 통해 새롭게 경험할 수 있다. 특히 야행에서만 만날 수 있는 특별한 조명과 야간경관 연출은 홍주읍성의 또 다른 매력을 선사하며, 역사 체험형 공연과 국가유산 체험, 지역 먹거리 등 다채로운 콘텐츠를 통해 남녀노소 누구나 홍주읍성의 역사와 문화를 쉽고 재미있게 즐길 수 있다.
