The 2026 National Theater Ssookssookdeuri Festival is hosted by the Performing Arts Support Center of the National Theater of Korea. Designed to make performing arts easily accessible to citizens in their daily lives, the festival runs regularly on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month. Admission to all arts performance programs at the festival is completely free of charge to expand cultural opportunities for local citizens. The performances take place at Experience Theater "Ssook", located on the 1st floor of the Performing Arts Support Center. Free admission tickets are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis at the 1st-floor information desk starting at 12:00 PM on performance days. Ticket availability may close early depending on seating capacity. The festival features dynamic stages that people of all ages can comfortably enjoy together. Participating artists showcase unique styles based on popular genres. 1. Ponticello's "Love Letter" - Date: Saturday, June 13, 2026 - Details: A stage bringing various genres of music to the audience with beautiful melodies played on two cellos 2. National Dance Company of Korea "Ink Wash & Light Color" - Date: Saturday, June 27, 2026 - Details: Performances by Young-mi Kim, Hyun-sook Jeong, Youn-na Jang, and National Dance Company artists 3. Jang Pill-soon "Summer, Jeju Breeze" - Date: Saturday, July 11, 2026 - Details: A comfortable vocal performance featuring popular music-centered setlists 4. National Changgeuk Company of Korea "Our Sound with Commentary, Pansori" - Date: Saturday, July 25, 2026 - Details: Gala performance of popular hit works by the National Changgeuk Company 5. National Opera Studio "Opera Stroll" - Date: Saturday, August 8, 2026 - Details: Opera performance featuring famous operettas, duets, and ensemble aria masterpieces by the National Opera Company 6. GongMyoung Concert "Giraffe Constellation" - Date: Saturday, August 22, 2026 - Details: Music performance by creative Gugak group GongMyoung blending traditional and Western instruments in harmonious compositions 7. Seoul Performing Arts Company Gala Performance - Date: Saturday, October 24, 2026 - Details: Small unit gala performance by Seoul Performing Arts Company 11. National Gugak Orchestra - Date: Saturday, November 14, 2026 - Details: Concert by the National Gugak Orchestra 12. Latin Kitchen Luna (Koh Sang-ji) - Date: Saturday, November 28, 2026 - Details: Latin music performance combining Koh Sang-ji's bandoneon and Choi Moon-seok's jazz piano with bass and percussion for a traditional yet modern mood 13.
