Amid political marriages and power conspiracies, Iemochi begins to question his existence and fate. Even his friendship with Haesu, a Korean descendant and his only friend, gets caught up in the whirlpool of turbulent times. Forced to become an instrument of power against his will, Iemochi faces an inevitable choice.
