[About the Performance] The third act of 'Han-Na Chang's Daejeon Grand Festival', a festival of young musicians with outstanding talent and passion, begins. This year, under the theme 'Joy of Music', you can meet music as a companion of life holding human joys and sorrows. Artistic Director Han-Na Chang, who has led this festival for 3 years, presents a program condensing past artistic achievements and musical philosophies to conclude this season. After seeking 'Be Yourself!' two years ago and portraying 'Immortal Beloved' last year, the Daejeon Grand Festival finally faces the joy music brings, marking the finale of its grand journey. Centered around the most remarkable young masters in classical music, look forward to the most brilliant lineup ever made of top local performers and the high-level stage awaiting you. Here is another opportunity to meet the Esmé Quartet, who received critical acclaim for the best stage at the 2024 Daejeon Grand Festival. Through Haydn's witty 'The Joke', Dvořák's 'American' with its exotic and rich melodies, and Schumann's String Quartet No. 3 masterpiece, you will experience Esmé Quartet's unique, delicate breathing and the close, rich conversation among the four instruments.
