The 18th National Marine Sports Festival is Korea's largest comprehensive marine sports festival held to raise public interest in marine sports and expand the base of marine leisure culture. Hosted by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and co-operated by host cities and related organizations, this nationwide event changes venue every year, featuring official and exhibition competitions for marine sports athletes and enthusiasts across the country. The 18th edition takes place in Geoje-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, featuring competitions in various disciplines including sailing, canoeing, underwater/fin swimming, and triathlon. Additionally, marine leisure experience programs such as banana boats, kayaks, and SUP paddleboards are operated along with cultural performances and side events, offering a festival stage for athletes, citizens, and tourists alike. Set against the backdrop of Geoje's beautiful marine environment, it is a national marine festival where you can enjoy sports, tourism, and hands-on experiences together. 1. Official Sports - Sailing, Canoeing, Underwater/Fin Swimming, Triathlon 3. Exhibition Sports - Dragon Boat, Rubber Boat, Flyboard 4. Marine Experience Sports - Dragon Boat, Rubber Boat, Banana Boat, Flyfish, Peanut Boat, Kayak (2-seater), SUP Paddleboard, Marine Adventure 5. Marine Cultural Events - Ocean Postcard Drawing, Ocean Love 5-line Poem, Fashion Tattoos, Keyring Making, Digital Photo Printing, Paracord Bracelet Making, etc.
