The Dalseong Daegu Contemporary Art Festival inherits the spirit of the original 'Daegu Contemporary Art Festival', where young artists in the 1970s challenged the rigidity of the established art world through various artistic experiments. Held around Gangjeong, the festival carries historic significance as Gangjeong was the site of the 3rd Daegu Contemporary Art Festival in 1977—Korea's first collective art event involving a record-breaking 200+ artists. - Main programs: Exhibition - Side events & programs: Special exhibition / Citizen participation programs / Exchange exhibition / Stage programs, etc. 1.
