[Performance Introduction] "Sounds resembling the nature of Korea and Taiwan meet on the strings of the gayageum and pipa, drawing a new musical landscape that connects the senses of two cultures." A creative duo concert connecting the nature of Korea and Taiwan through music. This performance is a creative duo concert featuring Korean 25-string gayageum player Seo Jung-min and Taiwanese pipa player Hsu Yun-han. The two performers unfold the natural landscapes of Korea and Taiwan, along with the memories and emotions contained within them, through music, creating a new musical dialogue based on traditional music. They express inspiration obtained from mountains, forests, rivers, seas, and the changing seasons anew through modern composition, improvisation, and cross-cultural collaboration, showcasing a new musical world created by the meeting of different traditions. Based on over 10 years of artistic exchange between Korea and Taiwan, this performance is centered on new works containing the musical identities of the two artists. It does not stop at simply combining the traditional music of the two countries but proposes a new musical language where nature, place, and culture are connected through the process of the gayageum and pipa respecting and resonating with each other's sounds. It will be a special stage that deeply empathizes and communicates with the audience across borders and cultures through the universal theme of nature.
