Art Gwangju is Honam's largest international art fair providing a bird's-eye view of domestic and international contemporary art trends and the art market. Galleries, artists, and collectors gather to present works and discover new artistic values. It acts as a cultural hub connecting Gwangju/Jeonnam with the global art world. Hosted by the Jeonnam-Gwangju Integrated Special City and organized by the Gwangju Cultural Foundation and Art Gwangju Secretariat. Art Gwangju 26 hosts around 110 galleries from 12 countries, including the Middle East and Europe, highlighting contemporary art trends in painting, sculpture, and media art. Special exhibitions such as 《Masterpiece Special Exhibition》, 《Propose Exhibition》, and 《Rising Star Exhibition》 broaden the fair's value by featuring curated artworks, local collectors' private collections, and works by young artists from Gwangju and Jeonnam.
