Performance Introduction: In the summer of 2022, Chopin's Piano Sonata No. 3 was performed alongside the opening of Studio301. Since then, Chopin's late works, which have walked alongside the performer over time, have become more than a simple repertoire—they have become a record. 'Records of That Hot Summer' is a stage reflecting on the deep traces left by a composer as an artist through Chopin's late works (Op. 58–61) and the performer's journey through time. Completed between 1844 and 1846, these pieces represent the peak of Chopin's creative freedom and depth. Transcending traditional forms to build a personal and poetic language, these late works contain solitude, reflection behind brilliance, and a noble will toward art. Experience the grand narrative of Sonata No. 3, the delicate resonance of the Mazurkas, the brilliant colors of the Barcarolle, and the free spirit of the Polonaise-Fantaisie. Following the essence of Chopin's late style, this concert shares an artist's enduring records beyond memories of a hot season. 피아니스트 김이안
