The Daejeon Special Visual Effects Film Festival is Korea's only film festival specializing in special visual effects, linking the creative, technical, and industrial fields based on Daejeon's special visual effects industry infrastructure. Major programs include the DFX OTT Awards [OverTheTop], which highlights special visual effects achievements in domestic video content; DFX Screening, consisting of special visual effects screenings and conversations with the audience; DFX Tech Show, sharing AI/VFX technology and related industry trends; and DFX Pitch, which discovers special visual effects feature projects. The DFX OTT Awards is a ceremony highlighting special visual effects technology and expression achievements for domestic OTT content. DFX Screening screens works where special visual effects were utilized, with directors, actors, and crews conversing with the audience. DFX Tech Show introduces video production technology and industrial status such as AI and VFX. DFX Pitch discovers special visual effects feature projects and provides linking opportunities with production and industry officials.
