2026 National Cheongju Museum Special Exhibition: Light, Resonance, Power - Metal, awakening the senses. ● Exhibition Period: April 28, 2025 (Tue) ~ August 30, 2025 (Sun) ● Exhibition Venue: National Cheongju Museum Special Exhibition Hall (Cheongmyeonggwan) ● Exhibition Overview: The 2026 National Cheongju Museum Special Exhibition focuses on the sensory journey led by metal, centered on just three display objects: the Gold Crown from Seobongchong Tomb, the Bronze Bell from Uncheon-dong, and the Saingeom Sword. Sensation is more than just a physical function of seeing, hearing, and perceiving; it is a way of understanding the world and creating meaning. Light that meets the eye, sound that lingers in the ear, and texture touched by the fingertips meet each person's experience and memory to expand into new interpretations. Ultimately, sensation is the most personal language that goes beyond simple 'feeling' to lead to 'thought and perception'. This exhibition is structured to allow you to experience the process of seeing, feeling, and interpreting for yourself along the flow of three senses: 'Light, Resonance, Power'. We hope you will take a step further from understanding the historical value of cultural heritage to discover the sensations conveyed by metal and your own unique world contained within them.
