EVE's invited exhibition 'I am what I eat' starts from the artist's thoughts on what constitutes us. This exhibition is the first invited exhibition of the artist EVE, who was selected for Gallery Jeon's <New Artist Project>, and is a place to formally introduce the world of 'Dongsanbachi' (gardener) that the artist has built for a long time. Using the memory of being handed a small green apple in her childhood as a starting point, the artist unravels the tenderness and traces of relationships accumulated in life through sculptures. It crosses the boundaries between the past and present, self and others, showing how we grow by influencing each other's lives. The artist says that all experiences accepted through seeing, hearing, and feeling eventually become the nourishment of life, making who she is today. This exhibition captures the process in which the invisible exchange of minds forms a person's inner self and leads to a new seed for someone else.
