About this event

The 13th Hoengseong Deodeok Festival will be held for three days from September 11 to 13, 2026, at the Nonggeori festival site in Cheongil-myeon, Hoengseong-gun. This festival proceeds under the theme 'The Scent of Deodeok Drifting, Full of Laughter!', bringing together Hoengseong deodeok (codonopsis lanceolata) grown in clean nature along with local agricultural products. During the festival, food experiences using deodeok and various food booths will be operated, and an exhibition/sales center where local farms directly participate will be prepared. In addition, the Nonggeori Dance Contest and experience programs are prepared to provide visitors with opportunities to participate and enjoy directly. It is a festival where local culture and community harmonize around deodeok, the representative agricultural product of Hoengseong. 1. Main Programs: Finding Golden Deodeok, Deodeok Olympics, Deodeok Digging Experience, Deodeok Bibimbap Performance 2. Main Performances: Opening and Closing performances, Community center performances, etc. 3. Special Event: Nonggeori Dance Contest 4.
