The Wonju Rooftop Film Festival, celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, is a non-competitive free film festival planned by the youth of Wonju. It is held on rooftops within Wonju on summer nights to provide enjoyment opportunities to Wonju, where chances to view independent and art films are scarce. Aiming to foster regional film communities and active personnel, it will screen and introduce works by provincial directors through the opening film 'Gangwon Short Film Collection.' Furthermore, it is planned centered on audience (citizen) activists, from reviewing and selecting candidate works for screening to planning side programs, selecting spaces, and operating booths, giving it meaning as a 'Community Cinema' where citizens are central. - Main Program: Gangwon Short Film Collection - Side Events and Programs: Rooftop Shorts / Rooftop Features / Today's Audience / Artist Performances, etc.
