About this event

[About the Show] Most of us believe that we understand each other through words. However, sensations and experiences that are not explained in the process of being refined into words and text are easily excluded. The 'Wood Wide Web', through which forest trees exchange nutrients and signals via mycelial networks, shows a complex and sophisticated communication system that works without language. Within this network, distinctions between center and periphery, subject and object are not distinct, and individual existences are connected in an interdependent relationship. This allows us to imagine possibilities of connection and symbiosis different from human-centered language systems. In this work, just as forest beings exchange signals through mycelial networks, relationships are created on stage through sound, light, and movement. Regarding sound as a substitute for language and a sensory contact point where humans and non-humans can resonate together, we aim to create a time where all elements of space are connected together. [Synopsis] A deep forest where human traces cannot be found. Beings of the forest sharing memories inside an invisible network tell the story of a human. An actor practicing lines alone in a semi-basement studio apartment. One day, mushrooms grow on a moldy wall, and he is led into an unfamiliar world beyond human.
