Launched in 2014 and hosted/organized by the Michuhol Haksan Cultural Center in Michuhol-gu, Incheon, Haksan Madanggeuk Nollae is a signature citizen creative arts festival where residents create and enjoy original performances. It serves as a lively open-air arena where residents gather in their neighborhood to communicate through culture and share original plays reflecting local issues and life stories with neighbors. It continues to evolve as a platform for citizen culture and arts crossing diverse artistic mediums, including creative Nanta (percussion), mask dance plays, theater plays, puppet shows, musical plays, and three-dimensional script readings.
