Building on the diverse reading culture and community presences discovered during the 2025 festival, the 2026 Jung-gu Book Festival opens Chapter 2 to connect these presences and expand relationships within the city. Chapter 2, "Connecting Each Other," treats Jung-gu—a place rich with accumulated stories—like a book. It discovers and connects existing stories within Jung-gu by tracing time spent in alleyways, memories preserved in the old downtown, people's lives, and local emotions. Using books as a medium, this festival creates a platform connecting people to people, places to memories, and the city to reading culture, serving as a time to share the depth of stories and the potential of reading culture in Jung-gu. 1. Booksking: A stage combining the Human Library (lectures) and live musicians 2. Performance: Puppet show for children 3. Market Booths: Book market, secondhand market 4. Experience Programs 5. Book Alley Tour: Humanities tour visiting local alleys and spaces related to books
